The Round Table: conference with Dr. Berrino

On Sunday, May 7, Cofooding is organizing“The Round Table”: a conference and debate on the topic of human health in relation to dietary lifestyle. Molini Spigadoro is among the partners in the project , which includes a series of events aimed at promoting dialogue between the public and food and health experts.

The Round Table is organized by Tilo Gonzalez Sippel in collaboration with Leonardo Cenci of Avanti Tutta Onlus, University of Perugia and La Grande Via Association. The goal of the project is to raise awareness among citizens with respect to lifestyles (dietary and otherwise) aimed at maintaining good health at every stage of life. Dr. Franco Berrino, for the first time in Perugia, and Prof. Francesco Galli are two leading figures in the field, who have been involved in research for years to promote the importance of proper nutrition for our health.

A dinner by Ristorante il Vizio and chef Lucia Moretti will follow the lecture, during which the chef and Prof. Berrino will explain the recipes and nutritional properties̀ of each dish to put into practice the concepts learned during the lecture.

Program

  • From 4 p.m., companies will display their products in the exhibition area
  • 17:00-17:15 Tilo Gonzalez Sippel: greetings and introduction to the conference
  • 17:15-17:40 Prof. Francesco Galli: food quality in Umbria.
  • 17:40-18:00 Leonardo Cenci: The importance of nutrition, a testimony of life!
  • 18:00-18:30 Intermission with buffet refreshments
  • 18:30-20:00 Dr. Franco Berrino: lecture and discussion
  • 20:00 Dinner (reservations must be made by May 3)
