The XLVIII annual conference of the Italian Society of Agronomy “Evolution and Adaptation of Herbaceous Cropping Systems,” of which Molini Spigadoro was an Official Sponsor, was held from Sept. 18-20, 2019, at the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences,University of Perugia.
The conference consisted of several sessions in which the most characterizing agronomic issues for theevolution of herbaceous cropping systems were addressed-long-term trials on conventional, organic and conservation systems-mixed cropping systems and agroforestry, major and niche food crops, and, finally, innovative and precision production methods.
All this, with a view tosmart agriculture that pays the right attention to current market needs, the environmental sustainability of production and the nutritional quality of the products obtained. A great success that was attended by more than 130 delegates from all over Italy, mostly academics and researchers from almost all Italian universities and research centers.
