At Molini Spigadoro, we firmly believe that the link between academic training and industrial reality is the key to innovation in the agribusiness sector. For this reason, today, April 30, 2026, we had the pleasure of hosting students from theUniversity of Perugia‘s Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences.
A focus on the safety and quality of raw materials
The visit, part of the Food Defense course activities, was led by Professors Lorenzo Covarelli and Gianandrea Salerno. At the center of the discussion were the crucial issues of grain protection and supply chain management, areas in which our company constantly invests in research and technology.
During the theoretical session and classroom discussion, we delved into:
- Molino’s production process: from raw material arrival to packaging.
- Selection and Control: the rigorous testing protocols to ensure high standards of wholesomeness and cleanliness.
From the classroom to the plant
The highlight of the day was a technical tour of the production plant. Accompanying the students into the beating heart of the company allowed them to see live how concepts studied in books are transformed into industrial processes. Observing the machinery in operation and the screening systems was a valuable opportunity to understand the complexity and fascination of the milling art.
Conviviality and Passion
As is tradition at Molini Spigadoro, the day could only end with a moment of conviviality. In front of the products made with our flours, we continued to exchange ideas and visions with professors and students, celebrating that mix of technique and passion that has always distinguished our work.
We thank the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of the University of Perugia for this wonderful exchange opportunity and wish all students a future full of professional success.
