Gusto&Colore Multicolor Braid Recipe: a special bread made with type 1 flour for a fluffy and healthy result. Easy to prepare!

In the bowl of the planetary mixer put the flour and sugar.

Dissolve yeast in water, pour into bowl and work on low speed.

Add the salt and butter a little at a time.

Increase speed to evenly string the dough together.

Remove the dough from the bowl and transfer it to a work surface.

Divide the dough into four equal parts.

To each part add the mixture of flavor and color to form four different colors.

Work each loaf with your hands to incorporate the color well.

Transfer the doughs to 4 bowls, cover with plastic wrap and let rise until doubled in volume.

Form each loaf into an elongated “sausage” with the ends slightly flattened and pointed to make braiding easier.

Braid the four strands of the braid starting with the right strand, arrange it in the center, continue with the left strand and always insert it in the center, then proceed as a normal braid.

Transfer the braid to a baking sheet lined with baking paper and let it rest at room temperature for about 30 min.

Bake in a hot oven at 190 degrees for 30 min.
