An easy, crispy and appetizing recipe? Scones, what a question!

Perfect as a substitute for bread, the soft scones can be topped with cheese, cold cuts and vegetables. In addition, they are much loved by little ones, making them ideal snack companions.

Here, however, you will not find the classic recipe. Rather, a small variation. In fact, our blogger has chosen to use our hemp flour mix for the dough, which combines the technological characteristics of wheat flour (Type 1) with the nutritional properties of hemp sativa flour, with a creative finishing touch:spirulina seaweed and safflower.

To fill the scones, however, he chose to pay homage to the Mediterranean: so green light to sun-dried tomatoes, olives and capers.

You just have to try the recipe now and bake these mouthwatering scones with Hemp Green Mix!

Preparation

Dissolve the yeast in the warm water with the malt. Next, add the mixture to the flour and start kneading. Also add the salt andoil and knead, until the mixture is smooth and homogeneous.

At this point, take an earthenware bowl and let the dough ball rise until it doubles in volume (it takes about 3 hours). After this time has elapsed, take the dough, roll it out with your hands and cut out many circles with a pastry cutter (or glass).

Place the dough circles on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, form holes with your fingertips and arrange the toppings on the scones. Our blogger chose sun-dried , fresh tomatoes, seeds, herbs, capers and cheese. You, can substitute or add the ingredients you like best.

Once seasoned, add a drizzle ofoil and let rise, again, for onehour. Now, all that remains is to bake at 200° C for 12 to 15 minutes.

Et voila. Scones ready to be enjoyed!
